    Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

    For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

    Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

    ~ William Ernest Henley – 1849-1903

“We cannot live in a world that is not our own, in a world that is interpreted for us by others. An interpreted world is not home. Part of the terror is to take back our own listening, to use our own voice, to see our own light.”

    ~ Hildegard von Bingen

I love this Odin. I’m in agreement with this!  Let’s all indicate our agreement (or disagreement) to any newly suggested rules as well so we know these are truly the group’s Ground Rules. Thanks for this suggestion!

    Welcome Meryl!
We’re so excited to have you joining the Parzival journey. Your location sounds lovely. You’ll have to share photos with us sometime. Do you ride horses a lot? That’s something I always enjoyed growing up, though I didn’t have horses myself. I rode with a friend less often that I’d have liked.

Can’t wait to see you for orientation week!
    Warmly,
    Kim

    Welcome Maya!

We’re thrilled to have you here. It’s brave to try something different, and certainly taking a gap from your senior year is a significant “outside the box” move. The Navigating Extremes teachings will definitely be of support, and support you and others to meet the many extremes life is throwing at us these days.

Always feel free to reach out for support as you juggle your passions with this program. We’re here for you!

    Warmly,
    Kim

    Welcome Odin!

We’re thrilled to have you here in the academy. We’d love to see some of your artistic creations sometime if you’d like to share! This platform is meant to have a “visual editor” to allow for easy addition of images, so stay tuned for that adjustment to make it easy to share more!

Thanks for being the first to introduce yourself!!

    Warmly,
    Kim

I’m not 100% sure I understand your question. This space is actually the student forum. You can always click on the forum from the learning area, and then you’ll see the various topics to post in. Let me know a bit more specifics about what you’re looking for, and I’ll do my best to help. Thanks for being here!

    Hi Odin,

We are receiving applications up to Sep 20. We begin on Sep 27, so that’s not much time to make travel plans, but it’s still enough for those who want it. Don’t forget that for students enrolled, we offer $500 for anyone who enrolls that you refer, so be sure to tell them to mention that you sent them! Thanks for spreading the word!

    Warmly,
    Kim
